Do You Have a Plan B When It Comes To Your Goals and Dreams?

The way you achieve your goals.

Listen, the year is three-quarters of the way over…the 4th quarter is now well in play.
How close are you to achieving those goals and dreams?

Let’s take a quick inventory to see how well your Plan A is working and determine if you need to make an immediate course correction…before you get further behind target.

Understand this……
If you had ambitions of making $250,000 this year, you should have at least $200,000 in the bag right now.
If you made a resolution to pay off $60,000 in debt, you should be $45,000 lighter and sleeping better.
And, if you committed to losing 20 pounds, you should have dropped 15 pounds by now and wearing baggy pants.

So my question to you is, are you on track with any of your goals or resolutions?

Are you crushing it…or in need of a comeback?

You’ve had 273 days to execute…to show the world just how good your Plan A is capable of delivering big, consistent results.

If you have not made as much progress as you would have liked in the first half of the year…the answer is not to keep doing the same things.
Many people do not achieve their goals because they continue to do the same thing day after day, year after year and because they are not seeing the results they wanted they downgrade their goals.
Do not downgrade your goals, change your method. Shake things up and implement a better execution plan.
To be more precise…you need to implement a Plan B.
You can still cross the finish line, you can still achieve your goals, you can still make 2018 the best year ever, but you cannot continue doing the same thing you have been doing up until now. You need to implement and execute a different plan.
The people that achieve their goals are the ones that are willing to alter the plan so they can get a better result

HOW TO IMPLEMENT A PLAN B FOR YOUR GOALS

If you are no where close to achieving your goals and dreams, here is how you can implement and execute a plan B

1. Evaluate Your Strategy
If you are not close to achieving your goals, take a look at what you have been doing, maybe you are not taking consistent action, maybe you don’t have a clear plan, maybe you spend more times watching movies than you working on your goal.

2. Set clear Target
Many people do not achieve their goals because it is not clear enough. Saying you want to earn a lot of money this year is not a goal, why? Because it is not specific or clear. How much is a lot of money? What might be a lot of money for me might not be a lot of money for you. Vague goals leads to vague results. You have to be specific. How much money do you want to earn? How much weight do you want to lose? And by when do you want to achieve this goal? Be specific and set a deadline by when you should achieve this goal.

3. Create a detail plan
How are you going to achieve this goal? Lay out a detail plan on how you are going to achieve your goal. Many people leave this part out of the equation, they have a clear goal, but not a clear plan of action. What have to happen each day, week, or month for you to achieve that goal?

4. Set clear priorities.
If you have too many priorities there is a good chance that you might fail. Establish only one or two priorities at a time along with supporting initiatives. For example, let’s say you are an aspiring entrepreneur and you want start an online ecommerce store selling watches. That is your #1 priority. Supporting initiatives could be deciding between Shopify or Woocommerce, hiring staff and initiating a marketing plan.

Having too many priorities or goals is like trying to keep too many balls in the air. Chances are good that eventually all the balls fall to the ground. That means failing to achieve your goals.

5. Execute the Plan
Execution is worship. It means nothing if you have a plan and don’t take action. You have to do something. Everyday do at least 1 task that will bring you closer to your goal. If your goal is to make $100,000 this year, what is that one or two things you could do each day to bring you closer to that dream? It might putting out content on social media to attract your ideal client or customer. It might be making 5 sales calls each day or 3 times per week. Your dream is dead if it’s not accompanied by action.
Do yourself a favor and start taking actions on your goal, its not up to someone else, it is up to you. You have to make it happen. Nothing will happen unless you start taking action and then opportunities will start lining up to help you achieve that goal.
Don’t allow yourself to get to the end of the year and wonder “what if?”

What if I had been more committed to my goals and resolutions?

What if I had really pushed myself harder, confronted obstacles and was strong enough to resist temptation….

What if I accepted the truth that my current plan, patterns and behaviors were not working and I had the courage to implement a Plan B by getting accountability and mentorship…would things be different?
What if, what if, what if.
