Information Focus Websites
The purpose of an information focus website is to do just that, to convey specific, helpful information to a specific user/audience so that the reader learns something new or understands a topic better. Entertainment websites purpose is to entertain, to give visitors entertaining information. Examples of entertainment websites are like online magazines, gossip oriented websites, celebrity news, sports coverage, movies, the arts, humorous websites, etc. The websites are frequently updated in order to keep users coming back for more information. If you want to make money online selling products (your own or other people products as a dropshipper), an e-commerce is your best option. The purpose of e-commerce websites are to sell products to users. If you are going to be successful selling with an e-commerce website, you have to ensure that it is very easy for visitors to make a purchase and your site is very secure. Not only that, but your website should be very fast and attractive, up selling users on related products, incentivizing buyers, reducing cart abandonment, nurturing past buyers to buy again, remarketing to past visitors who haven’t yet purchased, using the proper payment options, having a mobile ready design, etc., etc.
Service-Based Business Websites

Before visitors make a purchase, they will want to know that you can deliver on what you said you offer, and that what they will receive gives them value. This can be done through testimonials on your website, articles, videos demonstrating your product, visual portfolio of your work and so on.
Blogs are about giving visitors or readers valuable information about a product or a particular niche, for example Social Media marketing, or WordPress. To do this, owners of these blogs will regularly update their blogs with articles that visitors are looking for.

The purpose of social media websites is so that people can share and connect with each other whether it is withfriends, family, co-workers, acquaintances and even strangers. Most people use these websites to connect and share photos, videos and information with those they are connected with, while a lot of people use it for marketing purposes. For example, businesses use social networks to build direct connections with their customers which allows them to get feedback on their products and services and allows them to learn more about what their customers really need and want, and also to sell to them.
