Coaching is what we do, it is the method we use to get clients what they want. Those that wants your help don’t care about coaching. In other words they don’t care about the process. They care about the results you can help them to get.

What sells is transformation. When people come to you they come for a specific outcome. For example if you are a weight loss coach, they don’t come to you for 3 or 4 sessions per month, they come to you because they want at the end of working with you they are able to lose that weight, or at least started to lose the weight. If you are a business coach, they come to you because they want to make more money.

As coaches we sell transformation at a discount as my mentor always say. If I am going to take out my hard earn money and give it to you, I want to know that at the end of the 12 weeks or however long your program is that they are getting some form of results. It is very hard for someone to invest in your program and they are not sure they will be better off than when they started with you.

As a coach, if I buy into your program, I did so not because I have no use for my money, I did so because I needed more clients, more money. That is what i am giving you my money for.

I don’t care about the process, I just care about the result. I care about the end results.

If your car breaks down on the road and you have an important meeting in 30 mins. If someone two mechanic comes to you and tell you they can fix the car for you. Mechanic A in 40mins but back at his shop and it will cost you $45 and probably take you an hour.

Mechanic B promises you he can do it in 10mins right there on the spot. He has a proven record of doing so and he has the tools ready, but it’s going to cost you $100.

Which one are you going to go with? Mechanic B of course.

People don’t want a process, they want results. And people are willing to invest if they know they are going to get a certain return in a particular time frame.

The game has changed, people are not looking for coaching or if you are a service provider that does social media marketing, they don’t care about how many post you are going to make, they are looking for results and if you are able to help them to bring to live the vision they have in their head, they will pay you a lot of money to get it.
